BAHRAIN FORUM FOR DIALOGUE
EAST AND WEST FOR HUMAN COEXISTENCE
In an international environment
deteriorated by rising tensions and amid what Pope Francis has repeatedly
described as a "Piecemeal World War III", upon the invitation of His
Majesty Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, King of Bahrain, the Holy Father will address the Conference organized by the Bahrain Forum for Dialogue under
the theme "East and West for Human Coexistence".
Furthering the path inaugurated
by the historic Document on Human Fraternity for World Peace and Living
Together, jointly signed in 2019 by Pope Francis and H.E. Sheikh Ahmed el
Tayeb, Grand Imam of Al Azhar, the Conference will focus on the themes of
peaceful coexistence and interfaith dialogue as means of promoting peace.
